So proud of the two Techno Tigers, Allyse Espejo and Julia Spurlock who traveled to Pikeville yesterday April 12th, to demonstrate our Dash and Dot robots at the KVEC Kentucky Valley Cooperative  FIRE Summit (Finding Innovation in Rural Education). This event was hosted by the East Kentucky Expo Center in Pikeville, KY. It was an amazing day highlighting the innovative work going on in 17 school districts in rural southeast Kentucky. The summit featured over 125 presentations of teacher developed classroom innovations, tiny houses built by carpentry students as a part of the “Building it Forward” initiative, student coding competitions, innovative student projects and performances including student authors and app developers, and many, many more exciting exhibits and demonstrations from participating schools. Our Techno Tigers were so well behaved, participated in various activities, listened intently, and even asked questions during the other presentations. Mrs.Creech  and I were so proud of them!
