When the Paintsville Junior Future Problem Solving Team was announced as the top five in the state it was very exciting, but when they were announced as the 3rd place winners, it became even more thrilling. This placement will qualify them to advance to the International Competition in Iowa scheduled for June! Future Problem Solving Program International involves thousands of students annually from Australia, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Portugal, Singapore, Turkey, United Kingdom, and the United States. FPS is a two hour, six-step process a four member team must complete based on a specific topic they have researched. The Paintsville FPS Junior Team is very proud of their accomplishments because the competition at this level is known to be an accomplished one!
