Mrs. Kingโ€™s 6th grade science students are continuing their OpenSciEd Unit 1 investigations with their one-way mirror box models.

Their Driving Question Board (DQB) had lots of great questions about how light might affect the phenomenon, so today theyโ€™re testing it out โ€” exploring what happens with light on both sides and no light on either side.

This lesson (Unit 1, Lesson 3) challenges students to think deeply about the question:

๐Ÿ’ก How can something act as both a mirror and a window at the same time?

These young scientists are investigating, experimenting, and thinking critically โ€” just what great science looks like at Paintsville! ๐Ÿ”ฌโœจ
