Enjoy the upcoming long weekend! 😊

Thanks to our Kentucky Comprehensive Literacy Grant, we are excited to share that every 7th–12th grade student will receive their very own novel—chosen by them!
📖 Our English teachers are currently collecting each student’s choice of title and author, making this a truly personalized reading experience.
⏰ The deadline to submit book choices is Friday, and we’re hopeful to have books in students’ hands by February 14th 💝.
What a perfect Valentine’s Day present—the gift of reading and choice. We can’t wait to see what our students choose and watch their love of reading grow!
We love celebrating literacy across all grade levels! Our PES students already received their books during Family Literacy Night at Christmas, making reading a shared gift for the whole family.
